General information
The third annual open-studios and exhibitions event reveals what’s happening in design in this thriving Brooklyn neighborhood. Featuring the latest in fashion, architecture, graphics, interior, furniture and industrial design, the event reflects the current state of Williamsburg: its lifestyle, industrial past and new creative talent.

Along with the annual open-studio walk, Firstop will feature special design exhibitions and places of architectural and historical interest around the neighborhood.

The 2003 event was recommended by the New York Times, Time Out, IDSA, Core77 and Japan.Net, attracting more than 5,000 design-interested visitors. Over eighty participating designers opened their studios, workshops and design stores to showcase their latest work, including mass-produced industrial design, prototypes, furniture and lighting, interior design and architecture, fashion and accessories.
